    I was wondering if someone could help me. I am desperately trying to get to Vis tomorrow morning.

    I tried to book on the 9am ferry from Split to Vis (we have a car) and there is no availability until the 21.00 ferry tomorrow evening.

    We have booked the 21.00 but do you think if we turn up at 7.30am tomorrow morning there is a chance we can get on the 09.00 ferry? I was told we didn’t need to pre book so I didn’t but I know its totally my fault.

    Any help would be much appreciated

    Mags, obviously, there is no guarantee you can get into morning car ferry from Split to Vis as you have no reservation for your car.

    However, if you turn up in the morning in the port and see what is situation there, you may be lucky to get last minute car place – Sometimes someone is late, someone may gave up etc, so you never know ..

    As soon as you arrive in the port, check with local Jadrolinija’s office and I am sure they will do their best to find a place for you if at all possible.

    So, yes, go and try your luck in the morning and next time, make sure you book your car ferry well in advance especially in the summer season.
