    I was wondering if it’s possible to board ferry from Ancona to Split without passport but with national ID document.

    As a Polish citizen I’m allowed to travel around Europe with ID only by any means of transport, yet I’d like to know if that applies to ferries as well.

    There should be no problem with the ID card on ferries for European Union passengers,same as for any other border crossing within the EU
