Ferry Bodulka – the first ferry in Croatia
Ferry ‘Bodulka’ was the first ferry that ever sailed in Croatia. The vessel was originally built in 1952 for military use, acquired in 1959 by Kvarnerska Plovidba shipping company (later ‘Jadrolinija‘) to be modified to a car ferry.
Bodulka was then deployed to serve the route from Crikvenica (Croatian Mainland) to port Šilo on Krk Island which she served until retiring in 1979.
