Ilovik Island Ferries

Ilovik, the island situated just south of Losinj, features the remains of a large prehistoric fortification in Straza as well as ruins of early medieval Sveti Andrija church in Sicadrija. On the nearby islet of Sveti Petar, just across the channel from the Ilovik port and village, there is an extensive Roman remains with building foundations and traces of Roman mosaics as well as walls of the 11th-century Benedictine abbey. The island belongs to Losinj archipelago and is popular among people interested in archaeology and history as well as among sailors as a safe anchorage spot.
