‘Krilo Nomadic’ (Kapetan Luka) Catamaran Ferry
Catamaran Ferry ‘Krilo Nomadic’, owned by the Krilo-Kapetan Luka ferry company, is currently sailing on the 998 and 995 ferry route that connects Split with Dubrovnik via Brac, Hvar, Korcula and Mljet islands.
Krilo Nomadic, the class of HSC (High-Speed Craft) passenger vessels, was built in 2010 at Båtservice Mandal A/S in Norway. It was delivered to service in 2011 to Boreal Transport Nord and named MS “Falkefjell”. It was serving the ferry route between Hammerfest and Alta in Finnmark, Norway.
This carbon fiber passenger catamaran, a fast and comfortable vessel, has since moved to Croatia and is now serving on Kapetan Luka’s seasonal ferry routes connecting central Dalmatian islands with Split and Dubrovnik.
With a length of 35 meters and a width of 10 meters, this foot-passenger ferry is capable to achieve a service speed of 30 knots. Its full capacity is 250 passengers. Onboard facilities include a bar offering snacks and drinks, air conditioning, toilets, pet facilities, panoramic sea views, bicycle racks, and a comfortable salon.
