    Many of the ferries to/from the islands are not for cars.

    Is it possible to take bicycles on the foot-passenger ferries – to Hvar and Korcula?

    I am planning my travel by ferries and with a bicycle.

    I am coming to Split on June 2 and plan to bicycle

    – Sunday, June 4, ferry in the morning from Split to Stari Grad, at 11 am, ok for bicycles?

    – Monday, June 5, ferry in the morning from Hvar to Vela Luka but there is no?
    so I guess I need to take the ferry Hvar – Split at 7.50 and then ferry Split – Vela Luka 10.15, ok for bicycles?

    – Tuesday, June 6, ferry from Korcula to Orebic, probably no need to buy tickets beforehand, many ferries frequently. ok for bicycles

    – Thursday, June 8, ferry from Makarska to Sumartin, at 10, ok for bicycle, need to buy a ticket beforehand?

    – Friday, June 9, ferry from Supetar to Split, for example, 1045, ok for bicycles?

    My problem is especially the connection between Hvar and Vela Luka
    And are all these ferries ok with bicycles?
    Do I need to buy tickets beforehand, how do you recommend?

    Atte, your itinenary is ok.
    Any ferry that says “car ferry” in the description also takes bicycles.

    For Hvar to Vela Luka part I would suggest you go back by ferry to Split and take the car ferry to Vela Luka.

    You don’t need to buy tickets in advance for car ferries as there is
    always plenty of space for passengers as well as for bicycles.

    However, if you prefer to get tickets in advance, you can buy all car ferry tickets and check the latest timetable updates here:
