    Is it possible please to take our tandem bike, not in a bag!, on the ferry from Rab to Novalia on Pag?

    Alison, I just checked at Jadrolinija site and they dont offer bicycle booking on this line:
    RAB 16:55 > NOVALJA (Pag)> 17:40 (Catamaran KAROLINA)
    Pack your bike in the bag instead.

    We are planning to go to Cres island by bikes in August and just realized that the transport of bikes is not permitted on the ferry from Rijeka to Cres or to Martinscica (Cres).

    We have already booked the train tickets with bikes to Rijeka and would love to find a way how we can get on the Island of Cres with bikes because this is a long-awaited dream of ours.

    Is there any possibilty that we take the bikes on the catamaran? Or is there maybe another ferry running in between Rijeka and the island that we can take with bikes?

    We would have been interested in these two connections:
    Ferry route 9308 run by Jadrolinija: Fr (19.8.) Rijeka to Cres
    Ferry route 9308 run by Jadrolinija: Sa (27.8.) Martinscica (Cres) to Rijeka

    Lena, get in touch with Jadrolinija to double check if you can take your bikes on this ferry line.

    Also consider getting on ferry/catamaran with bikes packed in the bike bags as a luggage.

    Here are some possible alternatives:

    a/ cycling to Krk island. Krk is connected with mainland with bridge, and get on car ferry from Valbiska to Merag (Cres)

    b/ consider Rijeka to Krk options here: https://www.croatiaferries.com/rijeka-krk-ferry.htm and proceed from Krk to Cres via Valbiska and Merag (as above)
