    Hi, my fiancee and I are doing our honeymoon in Croatia at the end of May. Currently, we have a place in Hvar on Thursday 5/31 but want to get there from Dubrovnik earlier than 19:35 shown on the schedule for May. With it being so close to June where the Jadrolinija Ferry service is offered in the morning, I wanted to know if there is away to get there on Thursday morning or afternoon to give a full day in Hvar since we are leaving the next day?

    Does the Jadrolinija service from Dubrovnik to Hvar start only on June 1st or does it roll back into May?

    So in short, is there a way to get from Dubrovnik to Hvar earlier in the day to give us more time in Hvar than 19:35?

    Hi Jordan,

    Hvar Island is connected to the Croatian mainland by a daily car and passenger ferry that runs between Sucuraj on Hvar Island and Drvenik, on the mainland.

    If you rent a car with a pick-up option in Dubrovnik and drop-off in Hvar, the whole journey will take about 4 hrs.

    If you don’t have a car, you can use Uber or use one of the public buses which pass through Drvenik on the way to Split from Dubrovnik.

    You can take this journey all year around.
