    I am coming to Croatia next week with my boyfriend and are planning on staying some days in Hvar after which continuing to Mljet.

    Unfortunately we found out too late (after we had booked our hotels, which are very difficult to change), that there is no ferry connection between Hvar and Mljet on Mondays.

    I was wondering if there was anyway that we could move from Hvar to Mljet on the day?

    I looked into water taxis, but they are too expensive, since we wish to travel with a moderate budget.

    I was also thinking about chartered boats, but I’m guessing the prices are also very high with them?

    We are planning a trip to Croatia and need to work out how to get to/from a couple of islands.

    Are there any ferries that run from Mljet to Hvar/Stari Grad?

    We are travelling from Mljet on Friday 10th July

    yes, there is ferry may-october Pomena (Mljet) to Hvar, 4 times a week in May and daily June to October- check here :
