alanGuestPlease advise me on your procedures for using the ferry from Prizna to Zigljen on the 18 of September departing at approximately 17:00 hours.
My Camping Car is 6.7 Meters long and is 4.2 Tons in weight. 2 persons plus 2 dogs.
Do have to book in advance? and how do I do this?
Or can I pay on arrival, ( prefered )
Thank you.
Alan
AnaParticipantno advance booking – just turn up and buy your ticket on the spot.
AlessioGuestI am making a trip in mid-July with three friends to Novalja on the island of Pag. We will be traveling to Novalja by car. We realized that we would be better off using the Prizna-Pag ferry to reach the island instead of using the bridge to reach the island from the south.
Concretely, we would then be interested in being transported from Prizna to Pag by ferry with our car on July 15 and being transported back by ferry from Pag to Prizna on July 21, the day our vacation ends and we plan to return home. In this regard we would have a few questions:
1. is it possible/necessary to reserve the outward (July 15) and return (July 21) ferry, or is it not necessary to do so?
2. where should the payment be made?
3. is it possible to make the payment in euros?
Thank you
Ana3GuestAllessio, you can take a car ferry from Prizna https://www.croatiaferries.com/prizna-ferry-port.htm to Zigljen https://www.croatiaferries.com/zigljen-ferry-port.htm , the car ferry port on Pag island.
Advance car reservations for both car ferry routes are not available at the present. This line is a first-come-first-served daily route, meaning you can buy tickets in advance, online, but your car place is not reserved. See info here: https://www.croatiaferries.com/booking-croatia-ferries/
So, your option is to buy your tickets once you arrive at the ferry port. There is Jadrolinija’s kiosk there where you can get your ticket.
You can pay by card or cash. At the present, if it’s cash, it’s just Croatian kuna, not Euro. However, it is expected that from January 2023, Euro will be the main currency in Croatia.
OlivierGuestI would like to know if there is a way to do an online booking for the Ferry route 335, Prizna to Zigljen (Island of Pag). I will take the ferry with my car.
I couldn’t find this information on your website. As I will take the ferry 335 with my car on the 22nd of July (around midday), I guess it would be much better to reserve a ferry ticket before this date, but now I don’t know how I should proceed if there is no way to book a ticket online…
I hope that you will be able to help me and thank you in advance for your feedback on this matter
Kindest Regards from Lausanne, Switzerland
Ana3GuestOliver, You can buy your tickets online here: https://shop.jadrolinija.hr/shop/
This ferry crossing is first come, first served, so you can not reserve a place for a car on the ferry.
Try to be at the port as early as possible, and join the waiting line.
You can also buy tickets in the port, at the kiosk – just first, join the waiting line and then go to buy the tickets as cars embarking on the ferry on a first come, first served basis so I suggest you to join the waiting line first and then get out of the car to buy your ferry ticket from the kiosk in the port.
LaniGuestWe are 4 people traveling in a car and would like to book ferry tickets.
Do I book 1 car and 3 passengers? Or does it have to be 4 passengers?
If I book a ticket do I have to be on that exact ferry? or anytime as long as it is that day?
Also is it better to book in advance or on the day when we get to the ferry terminal?
We are traveling from Zigljen to Prizna in June this year.
Ana3GuestThis ferry crossing is first-come, first-served, so no need to buy your ticket in advance.
You can buy your ticket once you arrive at the port.
Once you arrive in the port of Zigljen, place your car in the waiting line and go to buy a ticket from the Jadrolinija’s kiosk/ticket office – here is the location of the kiosk:
And here is a lovely short video clip of the ferry and the port:
