AnaParticipantIs it correct that there is a Ferry departing Split on July 2nd at 22.15?
I am arriving at Split airport 20.30 on July 2nd and I need to get to Solta.the last ferry from split to solta (rogac) departs at 21:15 and arrives in solta at 22:15
it is unlikely you will be able to get to the last ferry if your flight lands at 20:30see here:

AnaParticipantFerries from Ancona to Split operate all year around.
Ferries from Bari to Dubrovnik start from 10.04 this year.
Italy to Pula ferries are not operating in March nor Split to Dubrovnik ferries so use alternative transport (bus)

There is also a car ferry serving Zadar to Rivanj, route 433

in reply to: Ferry timetable in April for Split, Hvar, Dubrovnik #2789
AnaParticipantI’m just wondering if the ferries will be running in April as any of the routes I want to take don’t have a schedule for April. These routes are Dubrovnik – Split, Split – Hvar and Hvar – Dubrovnik.
At the moment the only direct ferry route you can take for your itinerary in April is Split to Hvar.
https://www.croatiaferries.com/split-hvar-ferry.htmOther routes are not in service for April, they start in May.

in reply to: does ferry to the islands takes on our rental car ? #2786
AnaParticipantCould you please tell us if the ferry to the islands takes on our rental car or how will we travel while on the island? Do we have to rent another car?
You can get to most of the Croatian islands by car no need to rent another car on the island. Just check each timetable / schedule if it says “Cars are permitted on board” . It is clearly indicated if ferry is ‘foot passenger only’
AnaParticipantIf we take the ferry from Dubrovnik to Split – can we stay overnight on any of the islands and continue our journey by ferry the next day?
How much is the cost? You have to buy separate tickets for each island.
The prices depend of the season and route. They are all listed on the bottom of ferry route page like here for Hvar to Split – scroll to the bottom

AnaParticipantI would like to know the address of the Dubrovnik ferry port where the ferry departs for Bari, please.
Is this close to the Old Town or further away?
I would like to book a hotel close to the Old Town and close to the ferry port. The address is :
Obala Ivana Pavla 2, 20000 Dubrovnik,CroatiaAny accommodation you book in Gruz suburb will be very close to the ferry port.

in reply to: Pre Booking Mljet Car Ferry Prapratno to Sobra #2666
AnaParticipantI’m planning to take the ferry, with my car, from Prapratno to Sobra
I saw it’s not possible to book in advance.
Do you see is there a chance not to find room in the ferry?
Can I book the ticket earlier in Dubrovnik?
In ultimate case, how much earlier I need to be in Prapratno to assure that I’ll have roomIt is difficult to say but in my opinion if you come to Prapratno about 90 minutes prior to departure, you should be able to secure place on the ferry. No advance place reservation is available from anywhere else. You have to come to the port and place your car in the queue.
in reply to: Car ferry from Dubrovnik to Korcula #2721
AnaParticipantCan clients buy the tickets when they get to Orebic or should they prebook?
Once you arrive in Orebic you can buy your tickets there. For car ferries there is no advance reservation available.
in reply to: Car ferry from Dubrovnik to Korcula #2719
AnaParticipantIs there any other car ferry company that goes from Dubrovnik to Korcula?
Where is the nearest place which will have a car ferry to Korcula? There are no any other car ferry that goes from Dubrovnik to Korcula.
The best option is to drive to Orebic and take car ferry to Domince (Korcula).
It is the nearest point, just 15 minutes crossing – details are here:
in reply to: Car ferry from Dubrovnik to Korcula #2717
AnaParticipantCan you please tell me if the car ferry still operates from Dubrovnik to Korcula?
Unfortunately not
Just foot passenger ferries are sailing between Dubrovnik and Korcula.
AnaParticipantyes this ferry ticket can be purchased in advance
AnaParticipant– Catamaran with bike
The Question: is it possible in the late season to take bikes on the catamaran ferryboat from Jadrolinija?
Jadrolinia is the only ferryboat company to Vela Luka in this time I see !?I suggest you to take Split – Vela Luka ferry route 604 run by Jadrolinija where vehicles are permitted on board of the ferry.
AnaParticipantWe are planning to visit Vis island with our car. Could you please share time tables with us which ferries are car permitted.
All timetables for ferry from Split to Vis are here :
https://www.croatiaferries.com/split-vis-ferry.htm
and from Vis to Split here:
https://www.croatiaferries.com/vis-split-ferry.htm
Check timetables that says ” Cars are permitted on board “
in reply to: Rovinj to Dubrovnik Ferry (Istria to Dubrovnik) #2716
AnaParticipantIs there a port that is driving distance from Rovinj that we could go to in order to catch a ferry to Dubrovnik?
Unfortunately not – It used to be a ferry from Rijeka to Dubrovnik which is discontinued
AnaParticipantWe are a group of cyclists and we would like to take a ferry from Mali Losinj (or Cres-island) to Zadar in July. What are the possibilities? Is the 9141 line (foot passengers) only running in July and can we get on board with bicycles?
I would suggest you to take ferry line 401 which is a car ferry so bicycles are permitted on board:
https://www.croatiaferries.com/malilosinj-zadar-ferry.htm
Fast ferry line 9141 runs in high season only – this is last summer’s timetable:
2015 Timetable for catamaran ferry line Zadar – Silba – Ilovik – Mali Losinj – Unije – Pula
AnaParticipantHas anyone on here travelled with their dog on the fast catamaran ferry from Split to Hvar and from Hvar to Dubrovnik? Also Mljet to Dubrovnik? We would like to go to Hvar and further to Mljet and Dubrovnik in May with my small dog. Are dogs allowed on catamaran ferries?
If you choose to travel with Jadrolinija this is what they say about transporting dogs on fast catamaran ferries:
Pets may be transported exclusively if they meet the technical requirements on the ship, i.e. can travel in separated boxes for an additional fee (at the same price as transport of passengers, depending on the route), with mandatory prior reservation, i.e. purchase of the travel ticket. Pets may not be in indoor passenger areas (with the exception of guide dogs), and owners take the full risk for travel and responsibility for any possible damages. Dogs must be fitted with muzzles (with the exception of guide dogs) and be on a leash, cats in boxes, and birds in cages.
As far as I know, there are just two or three fast ferries owned by Jadrolinija that are fitted with cages so it is unlikely that these particular ferries will be serving on the route you need.
UPDATE:
For other ferry companies (Krilo, TP Line, GV Line, AdriaticExpress, etc) the best option is to contact them directly well in advance and see what they say about transporting dog for your particular route and date of travel.Obviously, if you are traveling out of season, when catamarans are not so busy, there will be more space onboard for animals. For high season (July & August) make sure you book your place for you and your dog well in advance.
I would suggest you choose a car ferry for your travel, whenever possible, as on car ferries dogs and other animals are allowed (subject to specific restrictions).
