I am staying at Pomena on the island of Mljet in early June and i was wondering if there was a ferry from Pomena to Dubrovnik and back in a day.If so what are the times and prices,

yes you can do day trip from pomena to dubrovnik. departure is at 10:45 and return is at 16:30.

check ferry schedules and look for “car ferry” notes. if schedules are for ‘foot passenger only’ then cars are not permitted. (As this is a foot-passenger only ferry, cars are not permitted on board)
there is no car ferry from Venice to Croatia. you can drive in your van.

hi Bengt, if you are traveling as a foot passenger the easiest option is to take the catamaran fast ferry line from Vis to Hvar town on Tuesdays.

You will arrive in Hvar in 50 minutes, and take from there another catamaran to Lastovo which is in the afternoon so by late afternoon you will arrive in Lastovo.

This ferry crossing is about 2 hours.

If you are driving and getting by car on the ferry, in that case, you have to go via Split.

Regarding ticket bookings, it is very unlikely you will have a problem getting tickets for these ferries if you book in advance – online ticket booking is available for all of these options: https://www.croatiaferries.com/booking-croatia-ferries/
