in reply to: hvar to dubrovnik #2660
AnaParticipantThe catamaran from hvar to dubrovnik is daily in june? What are the prices? Where can we buy the tickets? The duration of the trip is 3 hours right?
all details are @ Kapetan Luka https://www.croatiaferries.com/kapetan-luka/ (krilo.hr)
in reply to: Dubrovnik to Mljet ferries in May #2310
AnaParticipantCan you confirm that line Kapetan Luka line operates from Mljet/Polače to Dubrovnik on Thursday the 21st of May at 10:40 am?
that info is to the best of our knowledge.
pls double check with ferry company: krilo.hr/en/
AnaParticipantOn its way from Hvar (Stari Grad) the ferry stops in Korcula town on Korcula island and in Sobra at Mljet island before it reaches Dubrovnik.
62 Euro is a total prices for return ticket (both ways) for two deck passengers.
AnaParticipantyou can only book this ferry on the spot – first come/first served..
https://www.croatiaferries.com/makarska-sumartin-ferry.htm
however, it should not be any trouble finding space on it at this time of the year
the current ticket prices are displayed at the bottom of each crossing page.
AnaParticipantwe need to go from Vela Luka to Split 14/07. We are with seven people (no car) and we need to be shure that we get in Split that date because our plane doesn’t wait. Is it safe to buy tickets for the ferry 13/07 in Vela Luka? Will their be enough place on the ferry if we buy the tickets 13/07?
yes, you will get your place on the ferry. no worries
AnaParticipantnot all local ferries are bookable on line.
jadrolinija is not the only company that runs ferries in croatia
if you can not find your route in yellow search box here http://www.croatiaferries.com it means it is not bookable online. instead, book your tickets once you arrive in the port.

in reply to: Travel on Ferry with car VW bus #2535
AnaParticipantI would like to travel with car/VW bus.
How is that possible ?
I cant find out which ferries allow for this?
Then is it possible to travel from Venice to Croatia by car?
How do I visit Susak?check ferry schedules and look for “car ferry” notes. if schedules are for ‘foot passenger only’ then cars are not permitted. (As this is a foot-passenger only ferry, cars are not permitted on board)
there is no car ferry from Venice to Croatia. you can drive in your van.re susak – https://www.croatiaferries.com/susak-ferry-port.htm – take foot passenger ferry there as there are no cars on Susak
AnaParticipantno advance booking is available for split to rogac ferry.
it should be ok to turn up and get your tickets – there is plenty of foot passenger places available on any car ferryin reply to: Vis to Lastovo ferry availability and Split #2536
AnaParticipanthi Bengt, if you are traveling as a foot passenger the easiest option is to take the catamaran fast ferry line from Vis to Hvar town on Tuesdays.
You will arrive in Hvar in 50 minutes, and take from there another catamaran to Lastovo which is in the afternoon so by late afternoon you will arrive in Lastovo.
This ferry crossing is about 2 hours.
If you are driving and getting by car on the ferry, in that case, you have to go via Split.
Regarding ticket bookings, it is very unlikely you will have a problem getting tickets for these ferries if you book in advance – online ticket booking is available for all of these options: https://www.croatiaferries.com/booking-croatia-ferries/
