It is now confirmed that the ferry line Zadar – Ancona – Zadar will be in service once a week in 2022.
The ferry Marko Polo will run this route in 2024, the same vessel that runs on the Split – Ancona – Split ferry route.
Ancona to Zadar route used to be run by ferry ‘Zadar’ https://www.croatiaferries.com/zadar-ferry/ however, instead ‘Zadar’ is now in operation on the ferry route between Split and Stari Grad, Hvar island.

barbaKeymasterI went today in the port and took a photo of the entry ramp (also a wheelchair ramp) on one of the ferries:
Also talked with the crew and was told they have a lot of people with disability who used their service, without any difficulties.

barbaKeymasterUpdate:
Peljesac Bridge is due to be open in July 2022.
Once the bridge is open, the car ferry from Ploce to Trpanj is not an essential crossing anymore.
https://www.croatiaferries.com/ploce-trpanj-ferry.htm
Peljesac bridge is connecting Croatian territories, so no crossing of the Bosnia border is essential anymore.

or in the kiosk of the port.
Look for Sucuraj (Hvar) to Drvenik route and Split to Stari Grad (Hvar) route
barbaKeymasterAnother option is traveling on Wednesdays via Brac island:
Leave Dubrovnik in the morning and reach Milna on Brac island by 15:40 when the fast ferry to Vis is departing: https://www.croatiaferries.com/milna-vis-ferry.htm
One of the options is a fast ferry from Dubrovnik to Bol (morning departure) https://www.croatiaferries.com/dubrovnik-bol-ferry.htm
or, a day earlier, a fast ferry to Milna (afternoon departure) https://www.croatiaferries.com/dubrovnik-milna-ferry.htm and overnight on Brac to get the afternoon ferry the following day.in reply to: Booking Ferry from Ancona to Zadar (2024) #9683

in reply to: Ferry from Hvar to Split then to Airport #5720
barbaKeymasterHi Johnathan,
yes, you will have enough time to reach the airport by taxi from Split ferry port.
Kapetan Luka’s ferries are very very rarely late, I don’t expect any delays on that route in June.
Weather is good in June, you should be fine. - AuthorPosts
